This textile version of the variegated Monstera deliciosa leaf is a single shapely leaf: half dark green shiny satin, the other half mostly white with a touch of chartreuse at the tip. This leaf is cut from upholstery fabric remnants, which I put to use in many of my items.
The leaf is backed with green and white felt for sturdiness, the edges, fenestration and veins have been machine stitched, and there’s a short stem.
A brooch clasp has been sewn onto the back.
